We live on a planet with constant natural energies, subtly pulsating frequencies, a phenomenon unknown to the vast majority of people. Earth is a six sexillion metric ton battery that is continuously replenished by solar radiation, lightning, and heat from the molten core. It is a known fact that electricity is the movement of electrons from one atom to another. Humans are negatively charged inside, and the outside environment is positively charged. We also know that positive charge attracts a negative charge. Earth's natural heartbeat rhythm is the frequency of 7.83 Hz, also known as the "Schumann Resonance". A 7.83 Hz frequency is an alpha/ theta brainwave frequency within the human brain. Alpha/Theta brainwave frequency is a relaxed, dreamy, sleep state, that is also when cell regeneration and healing occurs. It is no surprise that ungrounded people nowadays, especially in bigger cities, are unbalanced, irritated, reactive, angry and diseases are exponentially rising in astronomical numbers.
We live in the time of technology, with superficial wavelengths which disrupt the natural earth's frequency. Wifi, cell phones, and an array of electronics are part of our everyday lives. It is also why our bio-electromagnetic waves are out of balance. We are out of balance from Earth's electromagnetic frequency. For example, the frequency of radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation (what powers cell phones, tvs, radio etc) ranges from 30,000 Hz to 300 Billion Hz. That is a significant amount more than 7.83 Hz that the radiates. “...tuning into 7.83Hz, the planet's own magnetic frequency, people experience benefits like enhanced learning/ memory, body rejuvenation, balance, improved stress tolerance, anti-jet lag, anti-mind control, and grounding. On the other hand, experiments were done, where Schumann resonance, the exposure of 7.83 Hz frequency was removed from the individual's environment. The subjects reported migraine headaches, emotional distress, and other health problems. This shows how important it is to be in tune with the Earth's magnetic frequency. (Philip Stein, MiraMate)
The frequency of the first Schumann resonance (SR), as they are now named, is approximately 7.83 Hz, with a (day/night) variation of about +0.5 Hz. The other SR frequencies are ~14. 20, 26, 33, 39, and 45 Hz, which closely overlap with human brainwaves, such as alpha (8-12 Hz), beta (12-30 Hz), and gamma (30- 100 Hz). This similarity between the frequencies produced by the brain and the SRs and the tendency of the electroencephalogram rhythms to become synchronous with SR activity was first reported by Koenig [60]. (McCraty, Rollin)
Scientific studies show that the human brain reaches its ultimate potential for health and wellness when it resonates with the Earth's 7.83-hertz frequency. Staying in sync with the Earth's natural frequency can positively affect physical and mental health, daily performance and promote an overall sense of well-being. But studies show that frequencies emitted from modern technology like electrical appliances, TVs, mobile phones and Wi-Fi, are interfering with the body's ability to stay in sync with the Earth's natural vibrations. This interference can negatively affect the body's immune system, energy levels and interfere with sleep quality. It could be one of the reasons why so many of us are often feeling stressed and anxious.
Schumann Resonance signal operates by being resonantly absorbed by brain systems and altering the serotonin/melatonin balance. Melatonin plays a central role in the body's highly regulated and strongly integrated system that was developed to produce healthy living in the face of diurnal and seasonal climatic variations. Earthing (also known as grounding) refers to the discovery that bodily contact with the Earth's natural electric charge stabilizes the physiology at the deepest levels, reduces inflammation, pain, and stress, improves blood flow, energy, and sleep, and generates greater well-being. (Menigoz, Wendy)
The electromagnetic fields generated by power supply systems, telecommunications, appliances, computers and other technology produced by humans are extremely powerful and in some cases have been associated with increased incidence of cancer, heart disease, depression and other diseases. Exposure to strong electromagnetic fields in residential areas and in certain occupations has been documented as significantly increasing the incidence or risk of the listed diseases. Certain groups of people such as the elderly, children, women who are pregnant and the weak have been found to be more sensitive or susceptible to adverse effects from these fields than the rest of the population. (As is often the case with research, there are opposing opinions on the existence or extent of such adverse effects. ", (HeartMath Institute, Energetic Communication)

Grounding or being directly connected to the Earth has been seen to have some interesting benefits in studies, 23 to be precise, including peer reviewed studies, Lowers inflammation (Menigoz et al 2020; Oschman et al 2015)
- Reduces oxidative stress (Sinatra et al 2017)
- Alleviates pain (Chevalier et al 2019)
- Improves blood pressure (Elkin and Winter 2018)
- Reduces blood viscosity (Chevalier et al 2013)
- Improves mood (Chevalier 2015)
Earth has a more negative charge that can lower the body's levels of oxidative stress and inflammation. It also helps the blood flow better by restoring its correct electrical charge, meaning the red blood cells aren't clumped together after 40 mins. You can get grounded by walking barefoot on the grass, swimming in a large open body of water or standing on the beach.Earthing, also known as grounding, refers to the practice of connecting your body to the natural electrical charge of the earth. Earthing is as simple as regularly walking barefoot outdoors, lying on a beach, and swimming in natural bodies of water. Earthing and grounding can also be practiced indoors with the use of Ellectrify grounding systems including pads and patches that connect to the grounding socket of your household electrical circuit. Staying grounded creates a harmonic, symbiotic relationship with earth.
Electricity is the movement of electrons from one atom to another. Grounding or Earthing is the act of electricity flowing from the earth into your feet to complete the electrical circuit and generate charge (aka redox) in our bodies. Humans have sweat glands on their feet for a reason to improve conductivity to help absorb electrons. A conductive body absorbs free electrons from the earth once inside the body; these free electrons act like antioxidants, reducing free-radicals.
Grounding appears to improve sleep, normalize the day. night cortisol rhythm, reduce pain, reduce stress, shift the autonomic nervous system from sympathetic toward parasympathetic activation, increase heart rate variability, speed wound healing, and reduce blood viscosity.
The science behind earthing and grounding is compelling: The earth is abundant in free electrons (negatively charged) that when connected to the body can help neutralize free radicals, providing antioxidant and immune boosting properties. The natural frequencies of the earth that we speak of are waves of energy caused by the motions of subatomic particles called free electrons. Like bees in a beehive, electrons move around the atomic nucleus in a “cloud” of energy. Electrons give earth's surface a natural, negative charge. Thus grounded, you absorb them which in turn reduces electrical imbalances in the body and the oxidative free radicals involved in chronic inflammation and multiple diseases.
It is believed that earthing and grounding affects an electrical matrix shared between the earth and all living cells, including those that constitute the human body. The belief is that grounding connects the body to the earth's natural field of subtly negatively charged free electrons. The electrical conductivity that exists throughout this matrix can neutralize free radicals (unpaired electrons) in the body. This activity may provide immune defense functions similar to antioxidants. The earth has an abundance of negatively charged free electrons that when connected with our bodies, provide antioxidant and immunological benefits. Though the research is still emerging, studies suggest that grounding and earthing may offer powerful positive benefits including reduced inflammation, improved wound healing, reduced blood pressure, faster muscle recovery, and improved sleep. Earthing restores and maintains the human body’s most natural electrical state, which in turn promotes optimum health and functionality in daily life. Ultimate anti-inflammatory and the ultimate anti-aging medicine. (Chevalier, Gaétan, Stephen T Sinatra, James L Oschman, Karol Sokal, and Pawel Sokal)
A 2019 randomized control trial looking at the effects of grounding (earthing) on massage therapists using grounding mats found that: "As a group, therapists experienced significant increases in physical function and energy and significant decreases in fatigue, depressed mood, tiredness and pain while grounded as compared to not being grounded. At one-month following the study, physical function also showed increased and depressed mood. (G, Chevalier.)
A 2020 review study found that grounding had significant anti-inflammatory effects. The authors found that, "Grounding reduces or even prevents the cardinal signs of inflammation following injury: redness, heat, swelling, pain, and loss of function. Rapid resolution of painful chronic inflammation was confirmed in 20 case studies using medical infrared imaging." (R, Oschman JL;Chevalier G;Brown)
A 2004 study looking at the effects of grounding during sleep via the use of earthing mats found that, "grounding the human body to earth ("earthing") during sleep reduces night-time levels of cortisol and resynchronizes cortisol hormone secretion more in alignment with the natural 24-hour circadian rhythm profile. Interestingly, the changes to sleep quality were most apparent in female participants. The researchers also found that participants reported less pain
and stress. (D, Ghaly M;Teplitz)
A 2015 study looking at the effects of grounding patches for exercise recovery showed that they significantly affected the presence of inflammatory and repair markers in the blood including neutrophils and platelets. These findings suggest that grounding may positively influence healing and pain relief. (R, Oschman JL;Chevalier G;Brown)
With Ellectrify products, the wire only plugs into the ground socket of a standard American electrical outlet, which carries no electrical current and can't shock you. As long as you read the instructions and use your grounding product properly, there should be almost no dangers to using it and the body cannot be electrically overcharged in this manner.
Dr. Sinatra (M.D.) proved that a study with rats showed that rats that were grounded had a lower blood sugar (diabetes causes blood sugar to be too high). Dr. James Oschman (Ph.D. in Biological Sciences) states: Inflammation in medicine is considered an important part of the healing process. (Person, Mark C. Stephen T., and Houston Sinatra)
“The body has resistance to current flow. More than 99% of the body's resistance to electric current flow is at the skin. Resistance is measured in ohms. A calloused, dry hand may have more than 100,000 Ω because of a thick outer layer of dead cells in the stratum corneum. The internal body resistance is about 300 Ω, being related to the wet, relatively salty tissues beneath the skin.” (“Conduction of Electrical Current to and through the Human Body: A Review.”)
AC - alternating current - direction is changing 60 times per second
DC - direct current (Eg battery)
Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy research confirms that magnetic fields stimulate the Vagus nerve by increasing heart rate variability. Using a device that stimulates pulsed magnetic field waves directly on the gut, head, and neck will target the Vagus Nerve. Work the vocal cords Chanting, humming, singing, talking, and other vocal cord exercises increase heart rate variability which activates the Vagus nerve. (Strauch B;Herman C;Dabb R;Ignarro LJ;Pilla AA)

Overall grounding allows us to feel, look, sleep better, with less pain.
Materials used in electricity are conductors, insulators and semiconductors. Conductors for example electrical cord plugged into the outlet of your home. Whereas insulating materials include plastic rubber glass and wood, much of our modern day materials. Our bodies are mostly composed of water and minerals. Both are good conductors of electrons and allow for us and the Earth to work synergistically and electrically conductive. The electrons from the earth are absorbed by our feet, which allows for our organ tissues and our entire body cellular function to be in harmony when grounded.
