How to Use
Step 1: Set Up the Product Tester
- Press the "PRESS" button on the tester to ensure the batteries are working. The green indicator light should flash briefly.
- Use an Outlet Checker (not included) to confirm you have a grounded outlet.
- Plug the included Safety Adapter into the grounded outlet. For Ground Rod users, connect the Safety Adapter to the Ground Rod cord.
- Attach one end of the Coil Cord to the Product Tester and the other end to the Safety Adapter.
- Connect your grounding product to another Coil Cord and plug it into the Safety Adapter.
Step 2: Test the Conductivity
- Direct Testing: Place the Product Tester firmly on the conductive surface of your grounding product, press the "PRESS" button, and look for a solid green light, confirming the product is conductive.
- Testing Through a Sheet: Add a drop of water to the sheet (to simulate natural perspiration). Place the tester against the moistened area, press the "PRESS" button, and look for a green light to confirm conductivity.
For accurate results, ensure full contact with the tester’s sensor plate and apply firm pressure to mimic natural body weight.
Bedside Testing
- Place the plugged-in tester on your nightstand.
- Wait five minutes after lying down.
- Test your index finger by placing it on the tester and pressing the "PRESS" button. A green light indicates your body is fully grounded.
